The last week has been an incredibly difficult time for Devonport and the broader Tasmania. As we all come to to terms with the unspeakable loss of life and injuries sustained through the Hillcrest Primary School tragedy.
We commend the work of the JackJumpers, Wildcats, NBL and WNBL for supporting the close-knit Devonport community.
Both the JackJumpers, Wildcats and the crowd at Perth Areana stood for a moment of silence prior to their match on Sunday 29 December. Both team wore black armbands – this will be extended for all WNBL and NBL games in the upcoming round.
