Tasmania’s newest recruit, development player Brody Nunn tasted championship success over the weekend, winning the NBL1 National Championship with the Knox Raiders.
Nunn played crucial minutes point guard minutes across the weekend for Knox, who won both thier to book in their their preliminary games to reach the Sunday’s Final Mackay on the Sunshine Coast. In a tight game Knox defeated the NBL1 North champions Mackay 97-93 at USC Stadium.
Despite struggling to find his the bottom of the net with his shooting (3-13 FG) Nunn still ran the offence for 37 minutes to finish with 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the final.
It caps off a strong season for Nunn, who averaged 15.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists across the season. This performance led him to being picked for a development player role at Tasmania, which
